Emily Ten Raa is a West Australian artist who works primarily in the medium of painting as well as drawing, woodwork, and installation. The connections that individuals and societies make - or do not make - with the natural world form the basis of her praxis and she believes the present disconnection with nature plays a major part in our value systems; her concern about nature and the environment often driving her work.

Emily contacted Construkt to redesign her artist website after ongoing frustrations with a 'do it yourself' platform. Working closely with Emily we decided on a design that boasted the use of negative space to produce a clean and open site to showcase her work.
